1. About Ved Transfer
Ved Transfer is a file-transfer service operated by Ved Tools, New Delhi, India (“we”). It lets you upload files and share them with others using a sharing key. By using the service you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the files you send and for having the right to share them.
- You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable laws.
- Keep your sharing keys and passwords private. Anyone who has a key can access its transfer.
3. Sharing keys
A sharing key works like a password. We can't tell who is using a key. Share it only with people you intend to receive the files, and revoke the transfer if a key is exposed.
4. Storage and expiry
Transfers are kept until the expiry time you choose (within the limits shown on the Send page), then deleted. Revoked transfers become inaccessible straight away. Copies may remain in provider backups or logs for a limited time. Limits on file size, transfer size, storage and bandwidth apply and may change. We don't promise unlimited storage or transfers.
5. Service availability
We aim to keep the service available but provide it “as is”. It may be interrupted, limited or changed. Don't rely on it as your only copy of important files.
6. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, remove or revoke transfers, and suspend access, if we believe these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy have been broken, to comply with law, or to protect the service and others.
7. Disclaimers and liability
We provide the service without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for lost, deleted or unavailable files. Nothing here limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version and acceptance time are recorded when you accept them. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.
